Siem reap introduction

Siem Reap , one of the most famus provind in cambodia know as the ruins of the acient city “Angkor” The capital city of Khmer Kingdom since the 8 centuary till the fallen of Angkor civilization and ended  in 14 centuay. In the 13th centaury this city was known as the “City of God King” have been very power and largest religious in the world. A thousand temple was build for serving Hindu mythology and was the home of the god king but later on this city was abandond almost 600 years . The city was disappear for location in the world.

In 1970s , the war and confict was damaged. later on after the civil was Angkor city in siem reap was found and well protected my UNISCO. The name Seim Reap means “Siam Defeated”  it is refer to the victory of Siam in this regoin in 17th centaury. During that time the western of cambodia was control thia.

Now a day Siem reap is no longer quiet  is well know as  tourism Attraction site that have million tourist came to visit every years make this city become more and more deverloping for the tourist facility, hotel , restaurant , spa, market and other activity was appear for the late 20 centaury. Afternoon we going to visit city of Angkor Thom by access from Victoria gate to explore the center of Angkor Thom , Baphoun , Phimeanakas, Preah palilay, Terrace of the Leper Kng, Terrace of the elephants.

Day 2:

Morning,

After breakfast from your hotel we going to visit the great lake , name know as Tonle Sap to explore the floating village of Chong Knea which is located about 15km from the centre of Siem Reap, perhaps we can enjoy with a little bit stop the village along the river and Phnom Krom before we reach the Floating Village

Afternoon,

Explore the first capital city of pre-Angkorian, 8th Centaury which is located 15km from center of siem reap , Rolous Group , Firstly we going to mountain temple Bakong,  The first major member of Rolous group Preah Ko,  Lolie and visit local market Psa Leu

Day 3:

Morning

We start early this morning to see sunrise at Angkor Wat in drawn with break-taking view  and the continues the journey to the south gate . we should the take the elephant ride to Bayon the centre of the Angkor Thom

Afternoon

Onwards to one of the most famous temple the name loosely translate to “citadel of the women”, Banteay srey temple was knows as the pink temple and beautiful of carvings, deep and intricate carving of Angkorian temple. On the way back we can visit the palm sweet produce by local and Banteay Samre temple. If it enough time we can do sunset at Pre Rup.
